Per person, TfL adult pay-as-you-go caps / Travelcards 2026 (source). All four stations are Zone 1, so you pay Zones 1–N where N is your home station's zone. Dual-zone stations (e.g. 2/3) count as the cheaper zone. Zone areas are approximate: each spot takes the zone of its nearest station.

How the budget is worked out

There's no fixed rule for a couple + single sharing a 2-bed. The common options are: split by room (50/50), by space (~60/40 couple/single), or by head (⅔ / ⅓). This map uses the middle ground: rent 60/40, with bills split per head (⅓ each, since they scale with people).

Where bills aren't included, they're estimated at £370/month for the flat (council tax ~£150, energy ~£130, water ~£45, broadband ~£30, TV licence ~£15). "Bills included" on a listing may not cover council tax — check.
